I'm Kris Tan, a self-taught textured artist from USA. Before I could even walk, my mum would set me up with crayons, paints, and pencils, leaving me to create for hours. This early immersion in art laid the foundation for my creative journey, which continued through school projects and art competitions.
Prior to the pandemic, I attended a sip and paint class that rekindled my passion for painting. During the lockdown, I delved deeper into this interest and created my first textured piece by following a YouTube tutorial. My neighbor admired the artwork and requested a variation for their living room. This encouragement inspired me to continue experimenting and refining my approach, making creativity an unstoppable force in my life.
